General information only
The guides on Turkey Dental Tourism are general information for educational purposes. They are not medical or dental advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and they do not replace an examination by a qualified dentist.
Your own dentist decides
Every mouth is different. Which treatment suits you, how long it takes, its risks and the aftercare you need depend on your teeth, your bone, your general health and the treatment itself. Always follow the advice of the dentist who examines and treats you, and ask them if anything in our guides seems to differ from what they have told you.
In an emergency
If you have bleeding you cannot control, swelling that spreads across your face, neck or around your eye, a high temperature, or difficulty breathing or swallowing, get urgent help straight away. Do not wait for an email reply from a clinic abroad.
- In the UK, call 999 in an emergency or 111 for urgent medical advice.
- In Turkey and across the European Union, the emergency number is 112.
- In the United States, call 911.
Clinics and other websites
We link to a clinic our editors recommend and occasionally to official sources. We are not responsible for the content of other websites or for treatment provided by any clinic. Any agreement about treatment is between you and the clinic you choose.
Keeping information current
We work to keep our guides accurate, but dental practice, regulations and travel rules change. Check important details, such as entry requirements and what your travel insurance covers, with official sources and your insurer before you travel.
